Tweezers rank highly in a plant enthusiast’s tool kit. Planting into substrate can be tricky, and sometimes virtually impossible
without tweezers. Large rosette plants such as Echinodorus species can be planted by hand but for stem plants like Rotala sp. and carpeting plants like Hemianthus callitrichoides, fine tweezers are essential.
Using tweezers not only helps to hold and position the plant but also allows the roots of the plant to be pushed deep into the substrate, helping the plant to quickly find nutrients.
